Operation Underground Railroad

Operation Underground Railroad’s (O.U.R.) mission is to shine a light worldwide on the global epidemic of child sex trafficking, and in so doing rescue more children from slavery and assist law enforcement to seek justice for those who violate children. While our focus remains on children, we assist survivors of all ages to bring them safety and healing. We place survivors on a path to recovery by partnering with vetted aftercare providers or by placing them with families.

Sammy's Window

Sammy’s Window provides a wide variety of free items to lift the tangible burden of caring for youth who are in foster care or have been adopted. Through the ongoing help of community donations, FosterAdopt Connect stocks items for all stages of child development.

Advice & Aid Pregnancy Centers

Advice & Aid Pregnancy Centers helps women and their families make an educated decision about an unplanned pregnancy by providing truthful information about parenting, adoption and abortion. We provide a safe, confidential and caring environment because an unplanned pregnancy can be a very stressful time.

National Cervial Cancer Coalition (NCCC)

To help women, family members and caregivers battle the personal issues related to cervical cancer and HPV and to advocate for cervical health in all women by promoting prevention through education about early vaccination and regular screening.

Saint Francis House

This is an Ecumenical Ministry, moving people from homelessness to hope! It’s a charity that takes in homeless, unemployed families down on their luck. Rehabilitates, education and job training to get families back on their feet. We adopt a family annually.

Operation Second Chance

We are patriotic citizens committed to serving our wounded, injured and ill Veterans. We support Veterans and their families by building relationships and identifying and supporting immediate needs and interests. We are dedicated to promoting public awareness of the many sacrifices made by our Armed Forces.

Wounded Worrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, through our direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with our advocacy efforts, we improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families.

Austin Strong Foundation

The Austin Strong Foundation is a 501(C)(3)Non-Profit Organization that exists to raise awareness, fund research, and support those families affected by childhood cancer. It was created in memory of the super strong, super loved, Austin Jeffrey Smith.

Sydni Smiles

We’re dedicated to raising awareness and support for the continuing journey to find treatment for cancer in children. Drawing attention to childhood cancer became a passionate cause since our beloved daughter Sydni Brown’s struggle with Rhabdomyosarcoma. She passed in September of 2020, leaving a hole in our hearts which will never be filled. But we hope that we can change the outcome for other children who have cancer.

Royal Promise

The purpose of our ministry is to make disciples and to share the gospel. But we cannot only do that and ignore the blaring, physical needs of those who we are serving. We do both. We meet physical needs alongside discipleship. It’s not one or the other. When you give to Royal Promise, you are helping us to meet real needs, in real life circumstances. But that’s not all. Over and over again we’ve found that when we meet a person’s physical need, this often opens up the door – a relationship – for us to reach to their spiritual need.

Rescue One

All of the animals in our care live in foster homes until a forever home can be found. We rescue without regard to breed, age, or ease of placement. Our mission is not only to rescue animals in need, but to also educate the public on responsible pet ownership and help provide low cost spay/neuter for those in need of assistance.

Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois

When a child is seriously ill or injured, many families must travel far from home to get the specialized treatment their child needs. Sometimes the treatment lasts a day or two, other times it may be weeks, months, or more—that’s a long time to be away from your home, your job, and your family. The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois serves these families by providing the comfort and amenities they need while their child recovers.

Wayside Waifs

Wayside Waifs is committed to finding homes for all adoptable pets. Wayside is the largest pet adoption campus in Kansas City, in 2019 Wayside adopted more than 5,800 animals in loving forever homes. Wayside does not euthanize adoptable animals, and there are no time limits for animals in our care. Wayside Waifs is proud to be a part of Kansas City’s no kill community.
